I'm going to start this post by appologising to the people that have been waiting for approval for their membership applications. I have been so busy with things that I clean forgot to check the new applications box. Please forgive me.

As you know I am looking to set up a place where blggers of all skills can get support and resources to help with their blogging. I am still working very hard towards this goa event hough there is little by way of new things to show. Most of the preperation has been in geeky things like getting the server configured "jsut so" and other related functions.

Ideally I would like to offer a domain name service where you can use me as a proxy to buy domain names and manage them through a web based interface. Along with this would go all my geeky knowledge to help you acheive your blogging and SEO aims.

This has proven harder than I had hoped. If you are interested in the details I mention it in a post entitled "Forced to learn Perl".

I am going to put that on a back burner for a few weeks so I can focus on getting a number of quality guides ready for you. These will cover topics as diverse as "free stuff" and "seo basics".
